Two and a Half Men has officially been picked up for a tenth season, it has been announced.According to TVLine, CBS executives have renewed the sitcom series after its first season without star Charlie Sheen. This comes after cast members signed on with Warner Bros. to extend their contracts on the show.
Sheen left the show last year after entering rehab due to problems with drugs and alcohol.
Ashton Kutcher then signed on to join the cast members Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones as irresponsible billionaire Walden Schmidt.
In its ninth season, the programme averaged around 15 million viewers, up 13% from its eighth season.
CBS has yet to announce whether underperforming shows like CSI: NY, A Gifted Man, and Rules of Engagement will return next season.
