Cougar Town has been renewed for a fourth season.
The Courteney Cox-led comedy has been picked up by TBS, who will take the show from its current home at ABC, confirming recent rumours of a possible move.
TBS will air the new season in early 2013, while it has also acquired the rights to its first three seasons to air on its network.
"Cougar Town is a smart, whimsical sitcom that draws its humour from likable, relatable characters," said TBS president Michael Wright.
"We are thrilled to have Cougar Town moving to the TBS neighbourhood as the network continues to expand its slate of original comedy series."
Cougar Town is the latest in a new line of original programmes including buddy comedy series Men at Work and the Vince Vaughn-executive produced Sullivan & Son.
Busy Philipps recently stated that she felt Cougar Town had been mistreated by ABC.
