Three new comedy pilots have been picked up by Fox.

Rebounding, Must Hire and Let It Go were all asked for episodes by the network, TV Guide reports.

Rebounding, which is based on the life of writer Joe Port, focuses on a man trying to move on from the death of his fiancée with the help of his basketball team.

Port, who previously worked on Just Shoot Me!, will write and executive produce the project along with Modern Family's Steve Levitan.

Elsewhere, Must Hire - executive produced by Happy Endings' Jamie Tarses - follows a tense executive who hires his father, only to discover that his dad is the office clown.

Meanwhile, Let It Go is described as an ensemble comedy and centres on a married couple and their friends. Rescue Me's Peter Tolan has signed up to executive produce the show.

Must Hire and Let It Go will only go into production if Fox is happy with who is cast in the pilots.

Fox is currently developing a number of pilots, including comedy Ben Fox Is My Manny, a serial killer drama starring Kevin Bacon and a show about a teenage spy.
