ABC has unveiled its midseason schedule, with several changes for 2012.



Cougar Town is missing from the lineup, despite being expected to return in the midseason period.

Deadline reports that the Courteney Cox comedy has been reduced from 22 to 15 episodes, and will return in March instead.

Pan Am - at one point expected to be picked up for a full season - has been replaced by Kristin Chenoweth's Good Christian Belles.

Work It replaces comedy Man Up, while thriller series The River also premieres.

Don't Trust the Bitch in Apartment 23 and Shonda Rhimes drama Scandal are also omitted from the schedule.

The full ABC midseason schedule of changes and new additions is as follows:

Friday February 3
