NBC has ordered a comedy pilot from Ryan Murphy.

Following a bidding war, the peacock network landed a half-hour comedy pilot from Glee creator Murphy and Glee co-executive producer Allison Adler, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Little is known about the project, save that Murphy and Adler will serve as writers for the show, with Glee and American Horror Story producer Dante Di Loreto working as a non-writing executive producer.

Murphy recently vowed not to speak so openly about changes to the show in future after causing a minor controversy when he suggested last year that several main characters on Glee might be written out at the end of season three.

In February, it was reported that Murphy and Brad Falchuk had signed on to produce American Horror Story for FX.

The pilot was ordered to series in July.
