The comedy-drama was renewed for a final 13-part season last month, with new episodes expected to air on Fridays at 8/7c in the fall.

Levi told E! Online: "It'll be our swan song and we all kind of ride off into the sunset together. It's great [because] we get closure."

Chuck co-creator Josh Schwartz previously admitted on Twitter that he is "very grateful" for the opportunity to give the show a proper conclusion.

"[The] decision by NBC to pick up Chuck for a final season to complete the story was incredibly classy," he wrote. "A gift to fans who have been so loyal."

Schwartz added: "Of course those decisions not always up to us, but it's nice to see fans' feelings taken into account. Every story deserves an ending."

Linda Hamilton has also confirmed that she will reprise her role as Chuck's mother Mary Bartowski in the final season.
