NBC orders theme park comedy pilot

NBC has ordered a new comedy pilot.



Deadline says that Brave New World has been written by Rescue Me creator Peter Tolan.

The show focuses on a group of employees at a theme park called Pilgrim Village, which specialises in recreations of New England in 1637.

The project is being executive produced by Tolan and Michael Wimer, who previously worked on 2012 and 10,000 BC.

Earlier this week, it emerged that Fox has picked up another of Tolan's projects, The Council Of Dads. Neither of the pilots is thought to be in first position.
