NBC has cancelled Go On.

The freshman comedy stars Matthew Perry as a sports talk radio show host, who joins a support group to help him move on from his wife's death.

Go On is the latest comedy to be axed by NBC. Yesterday (May 9), the network pulled the plug on Up All Night, Whitney, 1600 Penn and Guys with Kids.

However, NBC has renewed one of its strongest sitcoms; Amy Poehler's Parks and Recreation will return for a sixth season with 22 episodes.

NBC has also ordered new shows for its 2013/2014 season, including a Chicago Fire spinoff, an Ironside remake and Scrubs creator Bill Lawrence's Undateable.
