Bid your farewells to the Amy Poehler-produced Welcome to Sweden.NBC announced today (July 28) that it will not order any more episodes of the comedy series, which also airs on TV4 in Sweden.
The Peacock Network is immediately pulling Welcome to Sweden from its Sunday lineup, given that last week's episode reached just 1.11 million viewers.
Welcome to Sweden creator and star Greg Poehler broke the news to his Instagram followers today, blaming the cancellation on "some craptastically low ratings".
Welcome to Sweden boasted an international cast of US actors – including Patrick Duffy and Illeana Douglas – and Swedish stars such as Lena Olin and Josephine Bornebusch.
The series attracted a slew of high-profile guest stars in its two seasons as well, including Aubrey Plaza, Paul Simon and Greg's sister Amy Poehler.
