Amy Adams has revealed that she celebrated her 'Best Supporting Actress' Oscar nomination for The Fighter by spending "the day with the Muppets".Adams, who is currently filming the Disney movie with Jason Segal, told Entertainment Weekly that she would "gloat to Miss Piggy" about her third Academy Award nomination.
"I didn't even think I'd ever have a national commercial, let alone three Oscar nominations," said Adams. "It is insane. I don't know exactly how I got here but I feel really fortunate to be here."
Adams also noted that Tuesday's Oscars announcement represented a "historic" day, as it marked the first nomination for her Fighter co-star Christian Bale.
The Fighter picked up seven Oscar nominations, including 'Best Picture', 'Best Director' and a second 'Supporting Actress' nod for Melissa Leo.
