Speaking to MTV, Silver revealed that he is trying to get a 3D update of the 1976 sci-fi film off the ground.

"I'd like to make Logan's Run [in 3-D]," he explained.

"It's a movie I've always been intrigued with, excited by. We're writing a script now and that should be a big 3D movie and it should be devised and shot in 3D. I think if we can pull it together, then it would be," the Matrix producer added.

The original film, based on the 1967 novel by William F. Nolan and George Clayton Johnson, starred Michael York as a man hunted down by a force called the Sandmen in a futuristic utopia.
