Straight Outta Compton has stayed at number one in the US box office following a quiet weekend.


The NWA biopic took $13.2m to see off competition from Alex Kendrick's War Room, which is new in at two with $11m.

Elsewhere, Tom Cruise's Mission Impossible – Rogue Nation is down to three with $8.3m, just ahead of new entry No Escape, which is at four.

Horror sequel Sinister 2 is at five with $4.6m and Guy Ritchie's The Man From UNCLE is at six with $4.4m.

Hitman: Agent 47 is at seven, while The Gift is at eight with $3.1m.

Finally, Jurassic World is at nine with $3.1m and Paul Rudd's Ant-Man rounds out the top ten with $3m.
