Age of Ultron takes $187m in massive opening weekend

Avengers: Age of Ultron has topped the US Box Office after taking $187m in a massive opening weekend.


The sequel becomes the second highest opener of all time, beaten only by the first Avengers film.

Elsewhere, Blake Lively's The Age of Adaline is up one place to two with $6.2m and last week's number one Furious 7 is down to three with $6m.

Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 is at four with $5.5m, while Home rounds out the top five with $3.3m.

Kenneth Branagh's Cinderella is at six with $2.3, Ex Machina is down to seven and horror Unfriended is down three to eight with $1.9m.

The Longest Ride is at nine, while Woman In Gold is at ten with $1.6m.

The US weekend box office Top 10 for May 3-5 is as follows:
