'Furious 7' tops US box office for a third week

Furious 7 has remained top of the US box office for another week.



The action thriller starring Vin Diesel and the late Paul Walker took $29 million in its third weekend in cinemas, while also passing the $1 billion mark at the global box office.

Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 fails to overtake the action thriller and debuts at number two with $24m, as online horror Unfriended enters the box office with $16m at number three.

Home falls from number two to four, and The Longest Ride's $6.8m leaves it at number five.

Will Ferrell's Get Hard is at six with $4.8m, while Monkey Kingdom debuts at number seven with $4.7m.

Woman in Gold falls to eight with $4.5m, as The Divergent Series: Insurgent takes number nine with $4.1m and Cinderella rounds out the top ten with $3.8m.
