The Zack Snyder movie knocks Zootopia off the top spot


Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has gone straight to the top of the US box office, having taken a superhuman $170m in its first week.​

The film knocks last week's number one Zootopia down to 2 with $23m.

Meanwhile, comedy sequel My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 is at 3 with $18m and Miracles from Heaven is at 4 with $9.5m.

The Divergent Series: Allegiant is at 5 with $9.5m, 10 Cloverfield Lane is at 6 with $6m and Deadpool is at 7 with $5m.

London Has Fallen is at 8 with £2.9m and Hello, My Name is Doris is at 9 with $1.7m.

Finally, Eye in the Sky rounds out the top ten with $1m.​
