NBC unveils fall premiere dates...

NBC has released the premiere dates for its fall 2012 lineup.



The network will take advantage of the London Olympics, using the sports coverage to premiere two of its new comedies commercial-free. Matthew Perry's Go On will debut on Wednesday, August 8, while Animal Practice is set to air on August 12 following the closing ceremonies.

Meanwhile, the military-based reality series Stars Earn Stripes will premiere on August 13 at 8pm, followed by the return of Grimm at 10pm.

September 5 will see its American Football programming kick off again, including the NFL Kickoff Special 2012 and Sunday Night Football.

On September 10, The Voice will begin its first fall season with a two-hour premiere starting at 8pm.

Ryan Murphy's The New Normal will debut on Tuesday, September 11 at 9.30pm, following the time-slot premiere of Go On. Parenthood will return at 10pm.

Wednesday, September 12 sees the premiere of Guys with Kids at 10pm, while Grimm makes its time-slot premiere on Friday, September 14 at 9pm.

The sci-fi drama Revolution from JJ Abrams will debut on September 17 at 10pm. On Thursday, September 20, the NBC comedies make their return with back-to-back new episodes of Up All Night, The Office and Parks and Recreation.
