The dating gameshow, airing on Fox, pulled in 3.3m (1.8) and was soundly beaten by CBS's repeats of The Big Bang Theory (8.2m/2.1) and 2 Broke Girls (6.3m/1.7) in the 8pm hour.

However, Take Me Out premiered with better numbers than Buried Treasure, which could only grab 1.0 in the demos last year.

The Choice's first outing was more successful with 4.2m (1.8) tuning in, leading the hour against CBS's Person of Interest (6.9m/1.5). But overall, CBS beat Fox in primetime despite screening wall-to-wall repeats.

Meanwhile, Duets produced its lowest audience to date, logging 5.2m (1.2) between 8pm and 10pm, after which Rookie Blue took 5.4m (1.3).

Supernatural drama Saving Hope launched on NBC with 3.1m (0.7) at 9pm, then Rock Centre with Brian Williams entertained 3.2m (0.7).

Elsewhere, Breaking Pointe slipped a tenth to 687k (0.2) on The CW in the 8pm hour.
