'The Sing Off' falls to all-time low on Halloween night

The Sing-Off fell to a new all-time low on Monday, preliminary figures indicate.

The NBC reality show's latest episode averaged just 4.4m (1.4) from 8pm, down 200k week-on-week.

All networks saw overall audience declines on Halloween night, with Fox's Terra Nova (6.4m/2.1) and House (6.6m/2.5) also falling to respective series lows.

CBS's How I Met Your Mother (10.7m/4.1), 2 Broke Girls (11.1m/4.2), Two and a Half Men (13.8m/4.7), Mike & Molly (11.5m/3.8) and Hawaii Five-0 (10.3m/2.3) suffered less alarming dips.

Meanwhile, half-hour spoof show Scared Shrekless appealed to 8.7m (1.7) on ABC at 8pm, then Dancing with the Stars held 16.3m (2.8).

At 10pm, Castle became the night's only climber, with 12.9m (2.9) tuning in for the drama's latest instalment, beating Rock Centre with Brian Williams's disappointing 4.1m (1.0) for NBC at the same time.

Two Ringer repeats had 1m (0.3) and 870k (0.3) on The CW.
