Fans of Scream Queens, Bones, Sleepy Hollow, Gotham, Empire and other Fox shows will be able to stream them as they air on TV this autumn - so long as they live in the US.

This live-stream roll-out on Fox.com and the Fox NOW app begins tonight (July 11), just in time for So You Think You Can Dance's Top 10 show.

Fox says that live-streaming capabilities will be available to as many as 96 million home across the US.

While special events like the Teen Choice Awards will be streamed on Fox.com and the network's app, live sporting events will be available on the dedicated FOX Sports GO app.

Fox chairmen Dana Walden and Gary Newman said today: "From the start of the on-demand and over-the-top viewing revolution, FOX has been at the forefront of providing greater access to our buzz-defining shows, like Empire, Lucifer, Scream Queens and Family Guy.

"Adding nationwide primetime live streams is just another great example of how the FOX Digital Consumer Group, under Brian Sullivan's leadership, is innovating to give viewers the convenience and flexibility to watch our programming whenever and wherever they want."

Fox kicks off its fall schedule with a double bill of DC Comics on Monday, September 19 - as Gotham airs at 8pm ET and Lucifer airs at 9pm ET.
