Queen Latifah show renewed for second season

Queen Latifah's daytime talkshow has been renewed for a second season.



The rapper-turned-actress premiered the series on September 16, 2013, in a two-year deal with Sony Pictures Television.

In a statement released to Deadline, Sony Pictures president John Wesier said: "We are proud to have the CBS stations as our partners as we continue to build The Queen Latifah Show into a franchise brand."

While ratings have been mediocre for The Queen Latifah Show, it ranks as the season's number one new talkshow.

Past guests on the programme include Willow Smith, Jake Gyllenhaal, and John Travolta.
