Matt Passmore has revealed that he expects the second season of The Glades to be "darker".The A&E show focuses on Passmore's character Detective Jim Longworth, who is forced to move from Chicago to Florida after being falsely accused of sleeping with his captain's wife.
"[It] might get a little darker," Passmore told Entertainment Weekly. "The danger might become a little more immediate."
However, Passmore revealed that he expects the show to keep the same tone in its second run.
"I think it'll still keep the same voice," he said. "They found a really great voice for the show. I think there might be a couple of villains who can really fence with Jim one-on-one, so I think we might see some of that. And I think we'll see some of the other characters on the show get really fleshed out."
The second season of The Glades is expected to begin early next year.
