Fox picks up Rosewood for a full season

Fox has ordered a full season of Rosewood starring Morris Chestnut (via ComingSoon.net).



Chestnut stars as pathologist Dr Beaumont Rosewood Jr who has the ability to understand living and dead bodies, and works in Miami alongside Detective Annalise Villa (Jaina Lee Ortiz) to solve crimes.

Gabrielle Dennis, Anna Konkle, Domenick Lombardozzi and Lorraine Toussaint also star in the show.

Rosewood first premiered on September 23 with Fox then ordering an additional three scripts of the show.

David Madden, President of Entertainment at Fox said: "Rosewood has proven to be a real self-starter for us, which is a tremendous feat on this highly competitive night. Todd Harthan, Morris, Jaina, Lorraine and the entire cast and crew have done a fantastic job creating a gorgeous, sexy world that is the perfect complement to Empire.

"The upcoming episodes are so compelling as we build out the family dynamics, and with today's order, we're excited to explore the world of Rosewood even further this season."

Taye Diggs has recently been announced as an addition to the cast, guest starring in a recurring role as world-renowned infectious disease doctor Mike Boyce.

His first appearance is scheduled for November.
