The final episode of Dick Wolf's crime series, which has been a staple of the network's lineup since 1990, will air on Monday, May 24.

"The full measure of the collective contributions made by Dick Wolf and his Law & Order franchise over the last two decades to the success of NBC... cannot be overstated," said Jeff Gaspin, chairman of NBCU TV. "The legacy of his original Law & Order series will continue to make an impact like no other series before."

Simultaneously, the network announced pickups of LOLA, aka Law & Order: Los Angeles, for next season, as well as a 12th season of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
