Chad Johnson's reality series has been dropped by VH1.
Johnson was set to appear with his wife Evelyn Lozada on Ev and Ocho, which would have premiered on September 3.
The cancellation comes shortly after Johnson's arrest and subsequent release by his NFL team, the Miami Dolphins.
VH1 said in a statement: "Due to the unfortunate events over the weekend and the seriousness of the allegations, VH1 is pulling the series Ev and Ocho from its schedule and has no current plans of airing it."
On Saturday (August 11), Johnson was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence after an alleged altercation with Lozada, whom he wed in Miami in July.
The following day (August 12), he was cut by the Dolphins.
