12.6 million tune in for latest 'Glee'

Glee attracted 12.58m for Fox on Tuesday night, early viewing figures indicate.

The show's latest instalment, which centred around Kurt's ongoing crush on Finn, was down almost 1m on last week's audience.

Before Glee, the latest edition of American Idol picked up 18.81m, peaking with 19.9m in the last half hour of its airing.

Also in the 8pm hour, Jake Pavelka's departure from Dancing With The Stars entertained 12.15m on ABC, after which a repeat of Lost fetched 5.61m. V then put in a lacklustre 4.99m.

Elsewhere, NBC's Parenthood fell to 5.91m in the 10pm hour. Earlier, O'Neal's exit from The Biggest Loser averaged 7.45m between 8pm and 10pm.

Over on CBS, new episodes of NCIS and NCIS: LA took 15.94m and 15.53m respectively, then The Good Wife interested 12.12m at 10pm.

90210 and a rerun of Life Unexpected pulled in 1.54m and 990k for The CW.
