The network has officially renewed the Ramsay-led “Hell’s Kitchen” for 2 more seasons this afternoon, which will carry the long-running cooking competition series through its 20th season. The news comes just a few weeks after the series wrapped up its most recent season earlier this month.

Paired with its lead-in comedies, “Last Man Standing” and “The Cool Kids,” “Hell’s Kitchen” did a solid job at carrying FOX to consecutive Friday night primetime wins throughout its most recent season. It averaged a 0.8 live + same day rating in the adults 18-49 demo with 2.78 million viewers, down just slightly from its previous season’s 0.9 and 3.13 million viewer averages.

The series is one of four that FOX has with Ramsay, the others being “Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell & Back,” “MasterChef,” and “MasterChef Junior.” The latter series is set to premiere its next season in just a few short weeks.

All four Ramsay-led shows have been consistently solid ratings performers for FOX, and as a result, the renewal of “Hell’s Kitchen” comes as little of a surprise. It now joins a growing list of other titles renewed by the network for the 2019-20 season, including “The Simpsons,” “Bob’s Burgers,” “Family Guy,” and FOX’s freshman unscripted smash hit, “The Masked Singer.”
