CBS winter 2019 reality premiere dates...

‘The World’s Best’ and ‘Million Dollar Mile’ join unscripted lineup

CBS has officially unveiled the winter 2019 premiere dates for its various midseason unscripted series. “Big Brother: Celebrity Edition” will kick off the new year for the network with its second season premiere airing at 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21. Julie Chen-Moonves is expected to return as the series host.

The network’s new James Corden-hosted talent competition, “The World’s Best,” which features James Corden, RuPaul Charles, Faith Hill, and Drew Barrymore as judges, will premiere Sunday, Feb. 3 in the highly-coveted post-Super Bowl time slot. Following its initial debut, “The World’s Best” will then move to Wednesday nights, starting Feb. 6 at 8 p.m.

“Survivor” is expected to premiere its the 38th season Wednesday, Feb. 20, with “The World’s Best” moving from the 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. time slot to accommodate the Jeff Probst-hosted series.

Following “The World’s Best” finale, “Survivor” will act as a lead-in for the Tim Tebow-hosted “Million Dollar Mile,” which will air Wednesdays at 9 p.m., starting March 27. “The Amazing Race,” meanwhile, will return for its 31st season on Wednesday, May 22.

Premiere dates for CBS’ midseason scripted series are still unknown.
