LMFAO have scored a third week at the top of the UK singles chart with ‘Party Rock Anthem’.
The electro-hop duo’s collaboration with Lauren Bennet and Goonrock finished the week with a 40% sales lead over its nearest competition, ‘The Lazy Song’ by Bruno Mars.
Mars, who previously reached number one with his first two solo singles ‘Just The Way You Are’ and ‘Grenade’, climbed to the runner-up spot after debuting at 15 last week.
The arrival of Mars at the top of the chart sends previous second place finisher ‘Unorthodox’ by Wretch 32 down five places to seven, one number ahead of Nero’s ‘Guilt’, which becomes the highest new entry of the week at eight.

Just missing out on a spot in the Top 10 is Beyonce and her latest single ‘Run The World (Girls)’, up seven to 11, while ‘Just Can’t Get Enough’ by the Black Eyed Peas takes a tumble from eight to 13.
Achieving new peaks further down the chart are this week’s biggest climbers, ‘I Need A Dollar’ by Aloe Blacc and ‘Nobody’s Perfect’ by Jessie J, which rise 14 places apiece to 15 and 18 respectively.
However, Lady GaGa fails to keep her latest single ‘Judas’ in the top half of the rankings, as it slips from nine to 23 in its third week of release, landing a few digits ahead of the Glee cast’s first original song ‘Loser Like Me’, a new entry at 27.
