FIFA 18 is back on top of the UK gaming charts

The latest UK retail charts are in, and there has been a bit of movement at the top. It would seem as though many of you are feeling optimistic about the second half of the season as lots of people splashed out on FIFA 18 last week, which is once again top of the league. It displaces Call of Duty: WWII which only managed nine weeks at the top, equalling the franchise’s previous best (which, for the record, was Modern Warfare II).

Before you go, GfK shared an interesting little factoid this morning. With GTAV climbing back up to third, the stat-gatherers pointed out that the game is still selling well four years (!) after its initial launch on PS3 and Xbox 360. That’s 225 weeks in the charts, where it has never been outside of the top forty. Even more impressive, in 191 out 225 weeks that position has been inside the top ten. Impressive stuff.

And now, without further ado, here is this week’s top ten courtesy of Gfk Chart-Track.
