Call of Duty remains the top selling game

Last week, Call of Duty: WWII beat out is predecessor Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare by 57% in unit sales (21% in revenue due out much of IW’s sales being expensive SKUs on launch week), and this week proved its got legs as it only lost 43% of its first week sales.

This week’s new releases didn’t set the world on fire, as lackluster reviews for Need for Speed Payback and Sonic Forces no doubt had an effect. Still, they came in at fourth and fifth respectively. Football Manager 2018 came in at tenth, a respectable showing for the PC exclusive. Super Lucky’s Tale (23) and The Sims 4: Cats and Dogs (27) were the other brand new entries in the charts. Doom’s release on Switch propelled the title to 16th in the all formats chart, while it scored the 23rd spot in the individual list.
