Mike Posner is the new Number 1

Lukas Graham have lost their number one crown by a thread.

Mike Posner’s ‘I Took A Pill In Ibiza’ has stolen the top spot from ‘7 Years’ in a last minute overnight jolt.

In fact, there were only 261 combined sales between the two singles, making it the closest chart race of the year.

It’s also the narrowest margin between the Top 2 since 2007, when Timbaland and Keri Hilson’s ‘The Way I Are’ beat Kate Nash’s’ ‘Foundations’ to number one by justĀ 16 copies.

Meanwhile, Zara Larsson’s ‘Lush Life’ climbs a spot to number three as Fifth Harmony’s ‘Work From Home’ leaps seven spots to four, and Rihanna’s ‘Work’ completes the Top 5.

Ariana Grande scores this week’s highest new entry with ‘Dangerous Woman’ entering at 17, while Selena Gomez’s ‘Hands To Myself’ climbs 11 places to 21.

Finally, Zayn has scored his second solo Top 40 with ‘Like I Would’ swooping straight in at 30.
