Lost Frequencies achieves first UK number one single

Lost Frequencies has achieved his first ever number one single with ‘Are You With Me’.

The Belgian DJ, aka Felix De Laet, fought off competition from Tinie Tempah to top the UK singles chart with his remix of Easton Corbin’s original.

Speaking after reaching number one, Lost Frequencies said: “When I produced ‘Are You With Me’ in 2014 I did not expect it to grow this big.

“It’s a real honour to reach the number one position in one of the leading music markets of the world.”

He added: “You can’t believe how happy and proud I am. Thanks to all those who supported the tune.”

Elsewhere, Tinie Tempah’s ‘Not Letting Go feat. Jess Glynne’ is down to two, while Rita Ora enters at three with her new track ‘Poison’.

Walk The Moon’s ‘Shut Up and Dance’ stays at four and Major Lazer’s ‘Lean On feat. MO and DJ Snake’ is at five.

Meanwhile, Krept & Konan enter the top ten for the first time with ‘Freak of the Week feat. Jeremih’, which is at nine.

Finally, Birdy’s ‘Wings’ is at 31, re-entering the Top 40 for the first time since 2013.
