Call of Duty ends FIFA 15’s six-week chart reign

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has ended FIFA 15‘s six-week chart reign.

Activision’s latest shooter “convincingly” beats the week one sales total of last year’s Call of Duty: Ghosts and has sold 14% more week one units than Titanfall, Wolfenstein and Destiny combined.

It is the fifth biggest-selling Call of Duty at launch, behind the likes of Black Ops 2, Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare 3.

FIFA 15 drops to second, “way ahead” of Sega’s Football Manager 2015 and Alien Isolation in third and fourth, according to Chart-Track.

After a 61% drop in sales, Sunset Overdrive falls from two to eight, above The Evil Within and Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition. Lords of the Fallen drops out of the top 20 after one week.

Re-entries include Assassin’s Creed 4 at 16, Lego: The Hobbit at 18, Tomodachi Life at 19 and Frozen: Olaf’s Quest at 20.
