‘Assassin’s Creed 4’ beats ‘Battlefield 4’ to top all-formats chart

Assassin’s Creed 4 has outperformed Battlefield 4 at the top of the all-format weekly chart.

Despite charting at one and two respectively, Black Flag and Battlefield sales are down on their predecessors, which enjoyed the highest week-one sales in their respective franchises.

Elsewhere, FIFA 14 remains third, Grand Theft Auto 5 falls to fourth, while a 56% drop in sales sees Batman: Arkham Origins chart at fifth.

Football Manager 2014 and WWE 2K14 debut at six and seven, above the likes of Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition, Skylanders: Swap Force and Pokemon Y.

At the tail-end of the chart, Tomb Raider re-enters at 17, above Splinter Cell Blacklist and fellow re-entry Saints Row 4.
