‘GTA 5’ storms to the top of all-formats chart

Grand Theft Auto 5 has debuted at the top of the all-formats chart after becoming the fastest-selling game of all time.

Rockstar Games’ critically-acclaimed sequel has become the 24th biggest-selling game in UK history after just five days on sale, and topped all other GTA launches combined.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 was another new entry at number two, while hardware bundle sales helped Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us climb from number 27 to the dizzy heights of third.

Last week’s chart topper Saints Row 4 slipped down to fourth place.
