Saints Row 4 is fourth-biggest games launch of 2013

Saints Row 4 has made its debut at the top of the all-format weekly chart.

Despite selling fewer week-one copies than its predecessor, Saints Row 4 is the fourth-biggest launch of the year, behind Tomb Raider, BioShock Infinite and The Last of Us.

It is followed by fellow new releases Splinter Cell: Blacklist and Disney Infinity, the latter of which has sold 3.6 times the number of starter packs as the original Skylanders.

The Bureau: XCOM Declassified is this week’s fourth and final new entry at ten, charting above Assassin’s Creed 3 and Max Payne 3.

There is no place in the top 20 for new Wii U release The Wonderful 101, which makes its chart debut at 22.
