The Croods has spent its third weekend at the top of the UK box office.
DreamWorks’s latest animation again held off competition from action sequel GI Joe: Retaliation to secure the number one spot.
Keri Russell horror film Dark Skies is the highest charting new release, landing at number three with takings of £1 million.
Danny Boyle’s Trance and Jack the Giant Slayer both fall down one place from last week to complete the top five.
Elsewhere, the top ten sees new entries from Harmony Korine’s Spring Breakers and the Jennifer Garner-led family film The Odd Life of Timothy Green.
