Calvin Harris wins second album No.1

Calvin Harris has won his second UK album number one with 18 Months.

The producer’s latest collection, featuring collaborations with the likes of Rihanna, Florence Welch and Tinie Tempah, enters at the top, equalling the success of his previous effort Ready for the Weekend.

Kylie Minogue settles for second place with her new collection The Abbey Road Sessions, while Emeli Sandé slips one to three with Our Version of Events.

Fun. climb back up 29 places to four with Some Nights, following their X Factor appearance last weekend. Taylor Swift drops four from last week’s number one to five with Red.

Mick Hucknall enters at six with his new collection American Soul. Matt Cardle’s second LP The Fire lands at eight.

Madness score a number ten placing with their latest studio album Oui Oui Si Si Ja Ja Da Da.

Mercury Prize winners Alt-J climb up 14 places with An Awesome Wave to 13. Neil Young & Crazy Horse’s Psychedelic Pill is new at 14.

Jonathan & Charlotte re-enter at 15 with Together, following their ITV special documentary. Peter Andre lands at 18 with his new album Angels and Demons.

Eva Cassidy’s Best Of compilation is new at 22, while The Soldiers enter at 23 with their self-titled effort.
