22 months to paint Double Yellow Lines, Really?

Postby homerml » Fri Jul 04, 2014 12:35 pm

So how long do you think it takes to paint some double yellow lines? 22 months so far and nothing has happened. 22 months! Have you driven down Dorchester way recently? You might struggle with 50 Hospital worker cars on there. I know the buses do. In fact the bollard on the entrance to Dorchester way was damaged yesterday. This is having a snowball effect. With no spaces left on the street, all those collecting kids from the school then park on people’s driveways, double yellow lines and even on the zig-zag lines outside the school. Are we going wait until someone is killed or injured before we action this? All I'm asking is that we paint some double yellow line now rather than later. Should I launch another e-petition to get the old e-petition actioned? What do you think?
