Has anyone tried it? Recently opened on Hertford Street not far from Ann Summers ... all sarnies, baguettes, wraps etc are 99p.
The Coventry Telegraph is the best Newspaper in the world. Honest.

I'm always wary of buying ready-made sandwiches - you never know who put them together - or where their hands have been. :puke:

The half price fish & chips are no more Stevie - it's full price now :fuming:

That is terrible news Pollyanna that you have to pay full price now for the fish suppers .
I would congregate your friends from the social circle you move in , and picket the establishment and bring the owner to his knees :clown:

Well Stevie it's not so bad - they actually give senior citizens free chips now - I guess you have to buy something else tho - no such thing as a free lunch as they say :D

Sad part is they don't query our ages :(

Peter, Anglers better half said that the the 99p shop is not kosher as she had a friend who had a salad batch and there was no butter on it, a small piece of lettuce, a small portion of tomato and not much meat also the previous owner of the establishment had left food and the new owners were still using it, so was it way passed its sell by date ???

It's well worth checking the City Council's Scores on the Doors hygiene reports. Some of the reports are both surprising and alarming. Some of the city's major venues have shocking results and should be ashamed. By comparison, the 99p Sandwich Shop might be "fine dining"! It's just a pity CCC uses the 3-star system instead of the more widely used 5-star system to improve the granularity of the reports.

Martin I agree that the 5 star system should be used but you never know, CCC might wake up one day ;)

This is a brand new food outlet so there wasn't any previous owners, someone is getting their butter mixed up with their utterly butterly. I'll give it a try if I'm not using KFC. x
