'BGT' singer vows to return next year

Britain's Got Talent singer Chantelle Readman has revealed that she intends to return to the auditions next year.

Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden decided not to vote the Different Dreams hopeful, who performed with her best friend Ruth Banes, through to the next round in last night's show.

She told the News of the World: "I've realised that perhaps our voices don't mesh together that well."

Readman, 18, added: "But I do think Simon could have been less nasty. It was hard to hear that about my best friend."

Britain's Got Talent continues next Saturday at 8pm on ITV1.
