A Coventry man who broke in to a city pub and stole money from a gaming machine has avoided being sent straight to prison
Thomas Rattigan, 24, was slapped with a suspended prison sentence after admitting to entering the Coventry Oak, in Wyken, as a trespasser on April 19.
He then proceeded to steal £300 from the gaming machine inside.
After entering his guilty plea at Coventry Magistrates’ Court, Rattigan, from Cardiff Close, Willenhall, was handed an eight-week prison sentence which was suspended for 12 months.
Rattigan was also made to pay £600 compensation and must take part in a drug rehabilitation programme.

I wonder how many more break-ins he'll commit before finally being sent to jail?
