All those cars up in smoke :(

My Dad worked in the Trim Shop at the Jag all of his working life until he retired - yet he never learned to drive. :driver:

I could be wrong Polly but the cars in the picture look like the big Mk VIII?

The company was saved because Jaguar was already leasing the Daimler works in Radford and was able to transfer production there. Jaguar later bought Daimler outright.

A great find Rebbonk. It's amazing that car production was under-way so quickly after the fire.
