Coventry couples with relationship problems wanted for new prime time TV show

Television producers are looking for Coventry couples to take part in a new prime time show on Channel 4.

London-based 7 Wonder will be travelling to Coventry to meet local couples at a crossroads in their relationships.

The show will see couples working through their problems with expert relationship coaches during a two week stay in a luxury foreign villa.

Coaches will be using ground breaking techniques in the hope of bringing life back to dull and stagnant relationships.

A spokesman for the production company said: “We are specifically looking for couples from Coventry take part.

“Our producers will be visiting the area in the next few weeks to meet with shortlisted applicants.”

This isn’t the first time that Coventry residents have been sought out to take part in prime time TV shows.

Each year the city’s finest home cooks are asked to audition for popular Channel 4 show Come Dine With Me.

Sadly not all shows that have been shot in the city made it big.

Sent to Coventry , a reality show styled of MTV hit Georgie Shore and Jersey Shore, never materialised.

The pilot caused controversy upon its release – with many suggesting it would be give a bad impression of the city.
