Panic buying?

Postby dutchman » Sun Mar 07, 2010 4:13 pm

I was a little later than usual visiting Morrisons yesterday but by the time I got there they had been completely cleaned-out of cheap lager and loaves of bread. This was no big deal as there were plenty of alternatives available but what was so special about about this weekend to trigger such a round of panic buying?

Two FA cup quarter finals on the tv this afternoon ???? any excuse for a beer. Can't explain the bread tho - unless it was for sarnies during the games. :?

Maybe they heard we'd be offline today and needed something to eat and drink while they waited for me to fix it? :clown: <--that's me with the flu

Hope you are recovering Dutchy from the flu and get back to reality
If it was Morrisons in the Pool that was cleaned out, it was my mob ;)
