BBC One's one-off special The Ark topped the ratings outside of soaps, according to overnight figures on Monday (March 30).
The 90-minute drama - which starred David Threlfall and Joanne Whalley - was seen by 4.28m (19.2%) at 8.30pm. Earlier, Panorama interested 2.61m (12.7%) at 7.30pm.
On BBC Two, Racing Legends averaged 1.16m (5.9%) at 7pm, before University Challenge appealed to 2.89m (12.9%) at 8pm, and Only Connect interested 2.36m (10.0%) at 8.30pm. Kew on a Plate followed with 1.61m (7.4%) on 9pm.
ITV's More Tales From Northumberland continued with 2.83m (12.6%) at 8pm (191k/0.9% on +1), while The Mafia with Trevor McDonald lost almost one million viewers for its second episode with 3.45m (15.9%) at 9pm (516k/2.4%).
Channel 4's Food Unwrapped continued with 1.03m (4.6%) at 8pm (235k/1.1%), and Travel Man: 48 Hours in Barcelona informed 1.26m (5.4%) at 8.30pm (229k/1.1%). Britain's Benefit Tenants brought in 1.56m (7.2%) at 9pm (296k/1.9%), while Raised By Wolves amused 880k (5.1%) at 10pm (155k/1.7%).
Over on Channel 5, Police Interceptors thrilled 773k (3.1%) at 8pm (96k/0.4%). Gotham followed with 872k (4.0%) at 9pm (110k/0.7%), and Person of Interest was seen by 635k (4.0%) at 10pm (75k/0.9%).
On Fox, The Walking Dead's season five finale shocked 624k (2.9%) at 9pm.
