7.15m (35.5%) watched at 7.30pm on ITV and 148k (0.7%) on +1 as Peter faced the consequences of betraying Jim. At 8.30pm, the show rose to its best figure since June 16 as 7.47m (34.4%) saw Deirdre left horrified by Peter's ordeal, adding 184k (0.8%) on +1.
EastEnders attracted 6.56m (30.6%) at 8pm on BBC One as Ben Mitchell returned to Walford. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 248k (1.9%) at 10.30pm.
Emmerdale launched its big week of episodes for Declan and Charity with 6.03m (33.3%) at 7pm on ITV and 138k (0.6%) on +1. Like Corrie, the show had its highest figure since June 16.
Neighbours entertained 640k (11.0%) at 1.45pm and 820k (6.4%) at 5.30pm on Channel 5 as Lauren continued to face the consequences of her betrayal.
Hollyoaks managed 778k (4.9%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and 123k (0.6%) on +1 as Tom stumbled across Sienna, while E4's first look followed with 560k (3.1%) at 7pm and 132k (0.6%) on +1.
Home and Away mustered 194k (3.2%) at 1.15pm and 571k (3.8%) at 6pm on Channel 5, while 5*'s first look claimed 342k (2.1%) at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.23m (21.5%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
