UEFA Champions League football appealed to more than 3.6 million viewers on ITV last night (September 16), according to overnight figures.
Coverage between Liverpool and Bulgarian champions Ludogorets Razgrad - which ended 2-1 to the Reds after an injury-time penalty - drew 3.68m (18.2%) from 7.30pm, peaking towards the end of the match with 4.63m (22.6%).
On BBC One, Scotland Decides managed 2.13m (10.6%) in the 9pm hour.
BBC Two's Celebrity Antiques Road Trip took 1.43m (7.8%) from 7pm, before The £100 House: Tricks of the Trade and The Motorway: Life in the Fast Lane grabbed 1.89m (9.2%) and 2.42m (12%) respectively.
Channel 4's Posh Pawn was watched by 1.22m (5.9%) from 8pm, and Don't Stop the Music had 379k (1.9%).
On Channel 5, Cowboy Builders averaged 847k (4.1%) in the 8pm hour. Afterwards, CSI attracted 1.28m (6.3%), and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit earned 640k (4.2%).
The multichannels saw Sky Atlantic's The Leftovers - starring Justin Theroux - premiere to 222k (1.2%) from 9pm.
BBC Three's Don't Tell the Bride aired to 807k (4%) in the 9pm hour, and Bad Education managed 762k (4.6%) from 10pm.
