Coronation Street was Friday's (February 14) top-rated soap, with more than 8 million viewers tuning in to see Peter and Tina continue their affair.
An average of 8.4 million people (37.3%) watched Peter and Tina secretly arrange to spend the evening together in the 7.30pm episode of Coronation Street, while a further 7.69m returned at 8.30pm to see the couple sleep with each other.
EastEnders performed well for BBC One at 8pm, as 7.14 million (30.5%) viewers tuned in to watch Kat continue her secret plot to see Stacey.
Emmerdale ratings were also up on last week, with 6.93m (32.4%) watching Diane seek help from her doctor.
An average of 760k (3.7%) tuned in to watchHollyoaks on Channel 4 at 6.30pm. Last night's episode saw Grace pick a fight with Tegan at Rose's christening. A further 742k watched E4's first look show at 7pm.
On Channel 5, Neighbours was seen by 721k (8.2%) people at 1.45pm, while Home and Away entertained 300k (3.3%) at 1.15pm. The evening repeats were watched by 753k (4.2%) and 455k (2.3%) respectively. Home and Away's 5* first look was seen by a further 466k (2.3%).
Elsewhere, Doctors picked up 1.75m (20%) viewers at 1.45pm on BBC One.
