A medieval church devastated by fire five years ago is set to reopen after a £2.5m restoration.

St Nicholas' Church in Radford Semele in Warwickshire was targeted by arsonists in 2008, prompting a campaign to restore it.

Parts of it dated back to the time of the 11th Century Domesday Book. Facilities now include a kitchen and office for wider community use.

Reverend Martin Green will open the new church on Wednesday.

The vicar, Martin Green, told BBC Coventry and Warwickshire that the outside looks the same but it's a different story inside.

On May 15 a ceremony will mark the official handing back of the church. The first Sunday service will be held on May 19.
